We take your privacy seriously. You can browse getdinings.com without disclosing personal data - aside from cookies, described below. When you do share information with
us, we use it only to run the service, not to sell your data or pass it to advertisers. We will notify you if our approach changes.
The shorter short Your data is used to deliver your food, keep your account secure, and improve the experience. That's all.
What we collect
You give us
- Identity - your name, phone number, and email address.
- Delivery addresses - the locations you ask us to deliver to.
- Payment - processed entirely by our payment gateway. We receive only a transaction token, never raw card details.
- Preferences - favourites, dietary notes, and saved delivery instructions.
The app collects, automatically
- Device basics - model, OS version, language, and an anonymous installation ID.
- Approximate location - to show restaurants near you. Precise location is used only during an active delivery, and only with your permission.
- Usage & diagnostics - which pages are used (for statistical analysis only, then removed from the system), session state to keep you logged in, and saved
search preferences.
Why we collect it
- To process and deliver your order, and to let the restaurant or courier contact you.
- To send you order confirmations, receipts, and status updates.
- To send marketing or editorial emails - only if you opt in. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- To conduct periodic product research and improve the service.
- To comply with our legal obligations - invoicing, tax, and food‑safety records.
Your details are kept private. They are not passed to third-party advertisers or external mailing lists.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary, only with parties who help us run the service.
- Restaurants - your name, order, and delivery instructions.
- Couriers - your name, phone, and address, for the duration of the delivery only.
- Payment gateway - to process your chosen payment method. Your financial details are not disclosed to any other third party.
- Cloud infrastructure - where our services run.
- Authorities - only when compelled by a court order or when unlawful activity is suspected, and only the information specifically requested.
We never sell personal data. We never share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, and for up to seven years thereafter, in line with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. If you
would like us to delete your information during that period, please email privacy@getdinings.com with your request.
Your rights
You have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you. Upon verification of your identity, we will provide a copy of that data by email. You may also ask us
to correct, update, or delete your information.
Send your request to privacy@getdinings.com. We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity before responding, and to decline requests where
identity cannot be established satisfactorily. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies & trackers
A cookie is a small file placed on your device with your permission. We use three kinds:
- Session cookies - to keep you logged in without requiring you to re-enter credentials.
- Saved search cookies - to remember your preferences and searches.
- Traffic log cookies - to identify which pages are used, for aggregate statistical analysis. The data is removed from the system after analysis.
Cookies do not give us access to your device or any information beyond what you choose to share. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can modify your settings to
decline them, though this may limit some site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies.
We also use carefully selected third-party tools - mapping, payments, and communications - that operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those
policies before using those services.
Security
We have implemented security policies, rules, and technical measures to protect the data we hold from unauthorised access, improper use, disclosure, destruction, or
accidental loss. This includes encryption in transit and at rest. Payment information is never stored on our servers - only a token from our payment gateway is.
We cannot guarantee absolute security against every circumstance. You should ensure that any external sites you access via links on our platform have adequate measures in
place.

Children
Dinings is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Minors may use the service only with the permission and direct supervision of a parent or guardian, who must
agree to these terms on their behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we hold such information, contact us and we
will delete it promptly.
